A 3-day workshop on molecular microbiology at BAU

During 27-29 July 2017, Department of Microbiology and Hygiene, Bangladesh Agricultural University has recently successfully organized a 3-day workshop on “Molecular tools for detection of emerging and reemerging, endemic, cross and trans-boundary microbial agents” with the support from HEQEP supplementary project [CPSF-07] on production of inexpensive livestock and poultry vaccines funded by the University Grants Commission to Professor Dr. Md. Bahanur Rahman, Department of Microbiology and Hygiene, BAU, Mymensingh. The workshop was inaugurated by Honorable Vice-Chancellor of BAU Professor Dr. Md. Ali Akbar. In the inaugural ceremony, Professor Dr. Priya Mohan Das, Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Science, BAU, and Professor Dr. Monoranjan Das, Director, Planning and Development, BAU were present as the special guests.
A total of 30 participants from different institutes of Bangladesh attended the workshop.
